Can't Miss Event for Parents and Anyone Who Works with Kids!

Calling all parents, grandparents, teachers, business owner’s who employ kids, church leaders, and anyone else who works with kids:

This month I am excited to share that Patrick Henry will be hosting Captain Scott Frank, a retired Internet Crimes Against Children Investigator, and his message about how to navigate the digital world with kids. This is the best presentation I have ever heard regarding the topic and it has reshaped the conversations my wife and I have with our kids as well as our digital practices in the home! If you have kids, grandkids, or work with kids at any capacity, this is a can’t miss event!

On Monday, March 16th, Captain Scott will be in the PH High School gym speaking with adults only! What can you expect? This is a positive message centered around what you can do to help your kids navigate this increasingly difficult digital world. Scott will raise your awareness of the digital world and share stories with you in a unique and personal way leaving you with new action steps for working with kids that many of you have never considered! It is an informal setting and he will answer your questions along the way.

I recently attended this presentation and I am looking forward to bringing him to our community and hearing it again! The adult presentation is 2-hours long, and I know what you are probably thinking, who wants to sit through a 2-hour presentation? I thought the same thing on the night I attended. I was dreading a 2-hour presentation at a local school. I was surprised when, at the end of the night, I didn’t want him to stop! Many parents even waited to speak further with him after the presentation. Out of the approximately 100 parents in the meeting, none of them said it was too long in the anonymous survey! In fact, 88% of them said it exceeded their expectation and 10% said it met their expectations.

This topic is timely, this topic is relevant, and this topic will help you navigate the digital world opening communication lines with your kids! We believe in this message so much that on March 16th we are asking teachers to assign reduced or no homework for the evening and practices to end by 5:30pm so we can get as many of you at the adults only evening event as possible!

If you have any questions, you can email me at [email protected] and check out Scott’s website at https://digitalempowermentproject.com/.

Plan on joining us March 16th, 2020 at 6:30pm in the High School Gymnasium! You won’t be disappointed!
